My Thursday (your Monday) comes to a close - this time with a committee meeting where I presented our new strategy. It wasn't my best work. The strategy is sound and absolutely the right one, but I just wasn't feeling sparky tonight. I'm ready for my holiday next week, but have picked up an extra day this Friday - so holiday is now further away than it was yesterday!
Pay day tomorrow will help to sweeten the days ahead. I'm still loving my job and it is a dream come true but yeah that holiday is needed. It's been a very intense few months. I'm tired.
