I was hoping for a relaxed day at work today so that I could ease into holiday mode and potentially drive to the caravan this evening but it turned out to be one of our busiest days ever. Well since I started in March. And it's already five months since I started. Incredible!
So as a tired out person, I'm spending tonight at home. I'll get up as soon as I'm awake in the morning and should still be at the seaside in time for breakfast. I'm then off until Saturday when I have a shift.
Surprised that I got enough overtime in my pay this month that I've not had to draw down from my savings fund to contribute to the months caravan costs. I own Josie outright, but still have to pay £615 a month to the park for pitch fees, utilities, water and business rates. The business rates in Suffolk have gone up a massive amount this year due to a review, but I think it has to be another three years before the council can review them again. It sounds a lot, but for the number of days I'm there - especially in peak times - it really isn't that bad.
Bags are packed. Found my Aviator sunglasses after a year of being missing so it will rain now until I come home.
